Trainee Solicitors

Trainee solicitors are an important part of the Mace & Jones team and their contribution is highly valued. We currently have 5 training places and aim to appoint annually in either March or September.

We approach our recruitment & selection process quite differently to many firms in that we accept applications up to the end of July in the year preceding the start of a training contract. We prefer to meet potential trainees when they have some life and work experience and are in their final year of study.

We are very proud of what we offer and our Trainee Recruitment & Development Opportunities Brochure will give you a flavour of the values to which we subscribe, of the quality of work we undertake, of the work-life balance to which we aspire and of the sheer pleasure we derive from practising law in such a vibrant and forward thinking environment.

If you think you have what it takes to work for Mace & Jones, having achieved or be predicted a 2(i) degree with strong connections and roots in the North West, then we would love to hear from you. Your first step is to complete our online application form.

The closing date for training contracts starting in September 2011 and March 2012 is 31 August 2010.

For information about work experience and vacation placement opportunities please visit our Work Experience page.

If you would like a hard copy of our Trainee Recruitment & Development Brochure please email your request and address details to Jeanne Andrew, HR Officer on hr@maceandjones.co.uk.

Mace & Jones is an Equal Opportunities employer.
