RSL Breakfast Seminar : Employment Law Essentials - TUPE and Equal Pay - Liverpool
Free breakfast seminar being held at Mace & Jones, Drury House, Water Street, Liverpool on Wednesday 3 March 2010. Registration is from 8:30 am for a 9:00 am start concluding at 10:30 am.
The focus of this session will be on two key areas of employment law for all RSL's - TUPE and Equal Pay.
Our TUPE section will focus on key areas such as:
- When will TUPE apply to an RSL?
- Can we avoid TUPE applying?
- What effect does it have?
- What happens if we don't follow the rules, and
- How can you change terms and conditions post TUPE?
Our Equal Pay section will cover:
- Equal Pay essentials - what you need to know now
- Protect your organisation
- Being prepared, and
- Equal Pay and TUPE: hidden danger!
Our team will talk you through the latest developments and will be happy to discuss real life examples and issues with you, before and after the session. The session will be presented by two of the employment team Partners who work in our RSL team. Emlyn Williams will lead the TUPE session and Phil Allen will take the lead on Equal Pay.
This is a must attend seminar for anyone in the Social Housing sector with responsibility for employment and HR, and for those who have responsibility for contracting/tendering services.
The seminar will commence at 9.00 am and conclude by 10.30 am. Breakfast will be served from 8.30 am.
