Ros has been practising family law exclusively for more than fifteen years and now heads the Manchester team. She enjoys the diversity of family law and the different challenges presented by the wide variety of issues she encounters.

Ros brings her strong inter-personal skills and an empathetic manner to the wide spectrum of cases she deals with. These include many high value finance cases. She regularly deals with company and taxation issues. Her practice also includes cohabitation breakdown such as contested applications for financial provision for children (Schedule I Children Act) and proceedings brought under The Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act. She has a wealth of experience in dealing with private child law cases.

Ros is actively involved in Resolution, (formerly The Solicitors Family Law Association) the specialist family law group, and she is a member of the Manchester Area Committee for Resolution. She is a Resolution Accredited Specialist, specialising in complex financial settlements (Advanced Financial Provision II and Cohabitation).

Ros is a collaborative lawyer and seeks to promote the process, whilst recognising that the approach might not be appropriate in every case.
