Dominic is well known in the North West insolvency market having worked at Halliwells, Hammonds and Carrick Read Insolvency. Specialising in all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency, Dominic plans to grow the Mace & Jones insolvency practice in the firm's three North West offices Manchester, Liverpool and Knutsford.

Dominic said: "Mace & Jones has an excellent reputation across the North West. As the threat of corporate and personal insolvency becomes increasingly real in the current market, it is essential that those affected obtain the correct advice."

Simon Murphy is experienced in all aspects of property litigation. Simon has worked for national and North West firms including Beachcrofts and Mills and Reeve. He handles a broad range of commercial and residential disputes ranging from forfeiture claims to advice on tactics on collection of arrears, especially in situations where the tenant is insolvent.

Commenting on his appointment, Simon said: "Mace & Jones has some of the region's top dispute resolution experts and I am delighted to have joined the team. We will be working alongside the property department to protect our clients by preventing and managing disputes effectively."

Charles Tomlinson, head of dispute resolution at Mace & Jones said that the appointments were part of a firm-wide recruitment programme, which will see the firm grow across the region.

Charles said: "Mace & Jones has ambitious growth targets for the coming years and the dispute resolution team will play a key role in this. Disputes are on the rise. We have a strong track record in the avoidance, management and resolution of disputes which will be of significant advantage to clients."
