Mace & Jones Short Story Competition
To celebrate Liverpool European Capital of Culture, Mace & Jones is running a short story competition encouraging both published authors and beginners to participate.
We have long-standing literary connections. Two previous senior partners, Brian Fraser Harrison and Barrie Marsh, published books, and in more recent times Martin Edwards has published both non-fiction books and novels. Various other members of the firm have publications to their name.
Because justice is central to what we as a firm do, the theme of the story will be 'justice.'
The competition will be officially launched at the newly opened Hard Day's Night Hotel on the evening of 4 June, together with an official launch of Martin Edwards' latest novel, Waterloo Sunset, which is set in Liverpool in the run-up to Capital of Culture Year.
The successful entrants of the competition will be announced at an equally prestigious event towards the end of Capital of Culture Year.
Entries can be submitted online or by post. Before entering please read our rules of entry.
