Mace & Jones Recruited for MBO

A corporate lawyer at NW law firm Mace & Jones has advised on the management buyout of First Logistics Ltd.
The MBO of the Manchester-based recruitment agency by its five directors, completed last week with solicitor Andrew Phillips working alongside employment law specialist Richard Sheldon.
Carolyn Frodsham from First Logistics said: "This is a whole new chapter for First Logistics and we are very excited about the future, which will see us build upon the company's past successes and strengthen existing relationships whilst exploring new markets."
Andrew Phillips from Mace & Jones said: "The buyout is a positive move for the business, which will allow the team to take First Logistics to the next level and we wish them a very successful and prosperous future."
The deal was funded by NatWest and RBS Invoice Finance.
First Logistics, established in 1998, incorporates three divisions; Employment Solutions - for specialist engineering companies; Hyli Creative - a permanent division specialising in sales and marketing solutions and First Logistics - a driving and industrial recruitment division.
