Mace & Jones promotes two associates to partner

Leading North West law firm Mace & Jones has appointed two associates to partner level.

Manchester based Sarah Walton, aged 30, and Liverpool based Roland Hutchins, aged 34, both become partners in the corporate department.

Sarah joined the firm in 2000 as a trainee after graduating from Nottingham Law School. She became a qualified solicitor in 2002 and an associate solicitor in 2005.

Sarah was recently involved in the sale of Independent Pharmacy Care Centres PLC to Lloydspharmacy for £60million.

Roland, originally from Kent and a graduate of Chester Law College, began his career at Girlings law firm in Canterbury. He joined Mace & Jones in 1999 having qualified as a solicitor in the same year before being promoted to associate level in 2004. He specialises in all aspects of company commercial work and has worked with charitable organisations and quasi-public sector clients having spent more than six months seconded to the North West Development Agency in 2005.
