Mace & Jones advises on K2 Group sale to dsicmm

Law firm Mace & Jones has represented the shareholders of K2 Group, the Openshaw based printing and direct mail business, on the sale of the firm to Essex based dsicmm.

Mace & Jones head of corporate Alan Thompson advised on sale of the firm together with McInnes Corporate Finance.

Chairman Kevan Coleman, 62, and group managing director Kevin Illingworth, 47, founded K2 in 1989 as a printing business employing 14 staff.

Today K2 has 300 staff and a turnover of £24.7m. It counts corporate giants such as Vodafone, P&O Cruises, Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB among its clients. K2 prints and sends out 250m mailings a year, including travel packs, customer offers and local authority postal ballots. It also provides data analysis.
