Introduction to Employment Law/Employment Law for Managers

Who should attend?

Anyone with management responsibility for staff, HR professionals, new directors or board members who may hear appeals and anybody else who might be interested in an introductory overview of UK employment law.

Objectives:

At the end of this course delegates will be able to:

  • Understand how UK employment law fits together and works in practice
  • Spot areas of risk and mistakes to avoid
  • Understand the principles behind key employment rights such as unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, redundancies and anti-discrimination legislation
