Helen qualified as a solicitor in 1998 having completed her training as a solicitor with the firm. She is based at the firm's Liverpool office and deals exclusively with family work including child law issues, divorce and the settlement of financial issues and disputes involving cohabitants following the breakdown of a relationship.

Helen is a Resolution Accredited Specialist both in financial issues (Advanced Financial Provision 1) and children issues (Private Children Law).

Helen is the Secretary to the Management Committee of a local refuge for victims of domestic violence. She is a member of the Executive Committee of her local Soroptimist group and runs the Liverpool Ladies Network. Helen is also a mentor as part of the scheme run by the College of Law for students studying on the Legal Practice Course.
