Football Association appoints Mace & Jones as employment law advisers

The Football Association has appointed North West solicitors Mace & Jones to act as its external advisers on employment law until 31st May 2010. Mace & Jones will also advise on employment matters relating to Wembley Stadium, the National Football Centre, and the World Cup 2018 bid.

Mace & Jones were appointed following a rigorous competitive tendering process involving leading employment law firms from around the country.

Martin Edwards, head of employment law and human resources at Mace & Jones, said: 'We are honoured to have been asked to act for The FA at a crucial stage in its history. We are excited by the prospect of acting for one of the most high profile and significant employers in the country and we are very much looking forward to working alongside the impressive team of HR and legal professionals within The FA.'
