Emlyn is a partner in the firm's Employment and HR department. He is an experienced advocate and specialises in all aspects of employment law but has a particular interest in TUPE, equal pay and discrimination issues. Emlyn has a reputation as an innovative training provider and regularly undertakes bespoke in-house training for various bodies including multi-national companies, housing associations, NHS Trusts, ACAS and other professional groups.

Since 2004 Emlyn has been Chair of the Employment Law Committee of Liverpool Law Society. Since 2005 he has been a member of the Employment Tribunal Users Group for the North West. He was also instrumental in the launch, in November 2006, of the Merseyside Employee Relations Forum in which Mace & Jones are key partners together with ACAS and Liverpool John Moores University.
